Antonio Juárez Alavarado
Antonio Juárez is an economist from the National University of Mexico (UNAM) with more than 30 years of experience in the Mexican energy industry. He has served as Director of the Mexican Petrochemical Commission and as Director for Energy Development in the Energy Ministry, acting as member of the board of several state owned companies related with the energy industry.
He has also worked at Petróleos Mexicanos, as General Manager for Domestic Sales and as Vice President of Commercial Operations for Pemex Petrochemicals, and as Manager for Performance Evaluation in Pemex Refining.
In the private sector, he has acted as sales Director in Negociación ALVI, a chemical distribution company and as consultant for the oil industry. He joined Marcos y Asociados in 2008.
Pablo Christlieb Silva
Pablo is a chemical engineer from the National University of Mexico (UNAM), where he graduated with honors, and earned an MBA from Mexico Autonomous Technology Institute (ITAM). As part of this MBA program he also attended the Koblenz School of Corporate Management in Germany.
Pablo has extensive experience in the bidding process, proposal preparation and submittal, and contract management with Mexican Public sector entities. Before joining Marcos y Asociados in 1997, Pablo was Sales Manager for the Mexican branch of Campak, an Italian machinery manufacturer, and a Senior Consultant at Infotec, where he performed.
Renata Urrutia de la Peña
Renata earned a Master´s Degree in Economic Development from Yale University, having also taken finance courses at Cornell University and receiving a diploma on econometrics from Universidad Anáhuac.
Before joining Marcos y Asociados, she spent 12 years in the banking industry, serving as Director of Corporate Credit at Banco Mexicano Somex, contributing to create the real estate division, and to restructure large corporate debt-, Director of Corporate Banking at Banco del Atlántico, and Vice-president of the Credit Commitees of Banca Cremi and Banco Unión, as part for the intervention task force for these two banks.
Luis Miguel Labardini Deveaux
Miguel A. Rivera received a Master´s Degree in economics from Colegio de México, and a Master´s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University.
Before joining the firm, he had an extensive career in the Mexican public sector, serving as CFO of Pemex E&P, CFO of Pemex Refining and Pemex Corporate Vice-president for Planning and Financing.
In the Mexican Ministry of Trade and Industry he was in charge of industrial promotion for 12 years, where he represented México before GATT, UNCTAD, CIES, SELA and ONUDI. He has served on the board of Directors of various Mexican corporations, including Sidermex, Astilleros Unidos, NKS, FISOMEX, DINA, Concarril, Motores Perkins and COMESA.
